Olympic Weightlifting Weekend Retreat



Join us for a weekend filled with Olympic weightlifting, nature, and great times. Saturday will be a full weightlifting seminar (2 sessions), with a technique and skill breakdown covering the snatch, clean, and jerk. In between sessions, we will explore the outdoors with hiking and catching some fresh air in the New Hampshire outdoors. The evening session will be a full training session with coaching oversight.

Sunday, we will have a recovery day with a bonus accessory exercise and programming session to help you work on deficiencies that were seen on the evening session’s performance.

All meals will be provided, and free time can be filled with relaxing, wandering the outdoors, or whatever means you find calming to the body and mind.


The Weightlifting​ ​Course teaches participants:

  1. The proper stance, grip and positions for the snatch, clean and jerk.

  2. Proper warm-up, skill-transfer exercises and the rationale for each component.

  3. Common faults and corrections for each lift, with opportunities to coach other participants in the lifts.
